Here's how to get started Data Recovery process:

 

Step 2: Shipping instructions (click for printable page here)

  1. To ship a BARE hard drive: Remove and retain all brackets, mounting screws and interface adapters unless otherwise instructed.
  2. To ship the WHOLE unit (external enclosure, laptop computer, etc.) include all needed accessories and software (like power adapters, cables, driveres, controllers, etc.)
  3. Preferable packaging: Place the drive inside the anti-static bag or wrap in the aluminum foil. Suspend the unit in the center of a sturdy box of foam or bubble wrap around all sides.
  4. We recommend to ship the hard drives via air service to minimize handling during delivery, such as UPS Express / UPS Expedited or Fedex Express  / FedEx Economy services, although you may ship via the carrier of your choice.
  5. Enclose a printed copy of your order in the package along with your failed hard drive and ship to:

Power Supply failed when I turned the computer on. After that Hard drive not recognized by other computers. It sounds like it still spins. I just tried the drive in two other computers.

Tried viewing hard drive in friend’s computer and it was inaccessible there also. Does not show up in my computer windows explorer or computer management interface.
