Step 2: Get Ready to Ship
Before start preparing your package with the failed medium to ship out, you need to place an online data recovery order (STEP 1), then print out two copies of the placed order with shipping instructions on it, one is to enclose in the box with the drive, and the other – for yourself – any future references in regarding the order status.

How to ship:

Use a standard shipper's box (shown on left), or any of your own improvised packaging (shown on right). Cushion the hard drive or other data media device thoroughly with the bubble wrap, foam-rubber, or other soft damping pads, to protect from impact.

If you ship a single failed hard drive, then we advice you to remove all brackets, mounting screws and interface adapters, you might need to use those in the future with the new drive.

If you ship the WHOLE unit (like external drives, RAID devices, whole laptop computer, etc.), then including accessories would be a plus (power adapters, cables, original software/drivers, controller cards for internal RAIDs, etc.)

Include a printed copy of your order (see STEP 1) in the package along with your failed hard drive and ship out.
We accept deliveries by any carrier companies, but strongly recommend using a shipping method with ability to trace shipment.
We accept Saturday Delivery shipments until 4pm EST.
