Here's how to get started Data Recovery process:
Step 3: Check Data Recovery Report and Get Data Back
Once data recovery process is complete, the data recovery report will be emailed you. It will include a listing of recovered folders and files, as well as few file samples. Lastly, make a payment and get your data back.
Data Recovery Report includes
1. Text file with the list of root folders and files on each partition.
2. If you specify the data is to recover, you will receive an attached HTML file shown the complete listing of that specific data, including the names of folders, subfolders, files; file's size and date of creation. Note, the size of the HTML file can be really large, if so, to make it emailable it will be compressed / zipped.
3. File samples.
We also include a couple of samples of recovered files. Usually, it is the pictures, MS documents, etc. files.

Laptop was working fine when hard drive started "thrashing" for a while. It started making clicking noises repeatedly. Then the dreaded blue screen appeared. Subsequent reboots resulted in the same thing. However, the clicking eventually stopped, and now data accessed is EXTREMELY slow. I tried using Apricorn to do a sector by sector copy, but that failed.

The drive was hit by a virus or hacker attack. The OS stopped booting up. The student staff attempted to recover data and accidentally erased the FAT table. When I was called in, I could not find any data in the new FAT table. An fsck has been running for a week now and has returned thousands of errors. We have decided to pay for a professional service and are looking for one that can help us with this issue.
